The South Korean company unveiled a new screen smartphone with ultra high definition that will be released this week in South Korea and will hit stores in Japan in April.
LG Electronics Inc. introduced the G Optimus Pro features a 5.5-inch screen with a resolution of 2 million pixels , twice as most mobile phones with HD screen .
Works with operating system Android , has a camera that can take pictures and record videos in ultra high definition ("Full HD"), among other things.
LG executives have said their goal now is to raise the Optimus brand reputation, after it managed to make its mobile phone business back into the black after years of losses.
The G Optimus Pro will sell for the equivalent of $ 894 in South Korea without a contract with a mobile operator.
